The body of Dushasan Patra, a resident of Kendrapada district’s Radhanagar village who died in Dubai over a week ago, reached city airport here on Friday by the efforts of former MP Baijayant Panda.
Panda visited the airport and paid tributes to Patra.
Dushasan, who was working as a plumber, died in Dubai on December 31. His family members sought Panda’s help to bring back the body. Accordingly, Panda requested the Indian Ambassador to take early steps to send back the body to Odisha.
Panda lamented saying that Odia youths are migrating to outside the State and the country in search of work as they are not being provided jobs in the State. The body was handed over to family members in Panda’s presence.
