The SP of Kendrapada has set an example by organising the birthday celebration of his subordinate staff at his office.
SP Madkar Sandeep Sampat organised the birth day of six police personnel, who are of constable, havildar and DSP ranks, on January 11.
Sampat found that the police personnel were on duty on their birthday. So, he decided to celebrate the event to make it memorable.
Samapat arranged birthday cakes, sweets and flower bouquets on the occasion. He along with SDPO Kendrapada, Jayant Mapahatra and DSP of IUCAW Kartik Chandra Mallick greeted the six police personnel and wished them a happy birthday.
According to Amiya Swain, who was one of the six police personnel whose birthday was celebrated, “We feel proud of our SP saheeb, who arranged everything to celebrate our birthday at the office. During our service period, it’s our first experience that an IPS came forward to celebrate the birthday of subordinates. We took blessings from our higher ups on the occasion.”
Samapat said all the police personnel of the district are his family members.
