Kambhupani Mishra, Accountant in the office of Bargarh Civil Supplies Officer was arrested on Tuesday, on the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income.
Earlier on Monday his office room and residential house were searched by Vigilance officials and he was found in possession of disproportionate assets of more than 1.92 crore.
This included two double-storied buildings, 41 plots, one two -wheeler, deposits in different banks and post offices, gold ornaments, cash and household articles.
