Lili Mahakud, a resident of Fakirpur village under Sadar ICDS, managed to receive her financial assistance in Mamata Yojana after intervention under 5T system introduced by the State Government.
Recently, at least 15 Mamata Yojana beneficiaries under ICDS Keonjhar were contacted over telephone to know whether they had received the financial assistance in time. The 5T Department found out that Mahakud had not received the money inspite of the money paid in records. The Collector, Keonjhar was instructed to look into the matter. It was found that the money had been sent to a wrong bank account instead of Mahakud's.
Immediately steps were taken to bring back the money and make payment to Mahakud.
"I am thankful to the district administration and the officials for taking steps for providing the assistance," said Mahakud who had lost hope of getting the benefit.
