The Vigilance police on Saturday carried out simultaneous raids on the office and residences of Subal Kumar Panda, Assistant Engineer (AE), Rural Works Salapada Sub-Division in Anandpur of Keonjhar district on the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income. During the search, assets worth Rs 2, 04, 83,176 were found in the possession of Panda and his family.
In an earlier case, the Vigilance Officers arrested Durga Madhab Mishra, Assistant Engineer, office of the PA, ITDA, Baripada for possessing disproportionate assets worth Rs Rs 80,31,208 to his known sources of income.
