A second Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) will be started at Anandapur Subdivision in Keonjhar district from this academic year.
Sources said although as per a Cabinet decision, two places such as Champua and Anandapur had been selected for opening of the KV, but due to selection of a disputed land at Champua, there was uncertainty over the KV, while at Anandapur, the matter was in cold storage for long.
However, after due to intervention of Keonjhar MP Chandrani Murmu, now decks are cleared for the Anandapur KV.
The form for admission will be available at the Brajabandhu Vidyapitha, Bridge Chhak, Anandapur, for 30 days from the date of notification.
