The NRI Welfare Society of India felicitated Jyotirbid Dr Promod Patro with the Hind Rattan Award at the 34th International Congress of NRIs on the eve of the Republic Day in New Delhi.
Jyotirbid Patro was conferred the award for his outstanding services, achievements and contributions in the field of astrology. Minister of Tourism & Culture of Seychelles Alain St Ange was the chief guest and former lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar presided over the function. MP and former Union Minister Oscar Fernandes was the guest of honour.
Among others, former Governor and NRI Welfare Society of India president Bhishma Narayan Singh and Press Council of India Member and secretary general of NRI Welfare Society of India Gurinder Singh were present.
