The Sector-15 police on Saturday arrested six miscreants for their alleged involvement in ransacking The Samaja office at Rourkela recently.
Md Sazid, Md Samser Ali, Md Takir, Meraz Farhad, Md Tashira Alam and a juvenile Md Asraf Kereshi were arrested on Saturday evening, said Rourkela Additional SP Santosh Mohanty. Sources said nearly 50 miscreants were involved in the attack.
The journalists of Rourkela too threatened to stage an indefinite dharna in front of the ADM office by boycotting all Government programmes including Chief Minister’s visit till the arrest of all the culprits.
