A village committee meeting of Dhinkia under Erasama block where the JSW will start its proposed steel plant was held on Friday.
Total 28 village committee members participated in the meeting led by committee head Murali Sahoo. Tanmaya Swain, Rajesh Swain, Ananta Swain and Dr Tamil Pradhan were present. They discussed the villagers' sentiment over the proposed JSW projects.
Jagatsinghpur SP Akhileshvar Singh joined the meeting and hailed that villagers should be united to maintain peace and brotherhood among them.
The district administration and JSW authority are fully prepared to address any grievance raised by the villagers, Singh said and asked the villagers to avoid enmity and violence.
Additional SP Paradip Nimain Sethy and IIC Abhyachandpur Jibanananda Jena among others participated.
