Jharsuguda MlA Naba Kishore Das on Friday laid foundation-stones of two bridges on the same day in Kulabira and Kirimira blocks in the district and four road redevelopment projects in 30 locations across Jharsuguda.
The bridges are being constructed at Gudigaon village and Bhanwara village for an estimated cost of Rs 8.26 crore and Rs 8.88 crore respectively, while the road redevelopment work would be undertaken at two locations in Jharsuguda block, 19 locations in laikera block, six locations in Kirimira blocks and five locations in Kulabira block at an estimated cost of Rs 30 crore by the Rural Development Department.
On this occasion, Das said, "These projects would not only benefit the villagers of Jharsuguda constituency but also ease inter-city movement in the district. Our focus will continue to be on inclusive development of all parcels of the district
