The Manab Seva Sangha celebrated its fourth annual day function here on Friday with eminent educationist Prof lalit Mohan Das presiding over the event.
Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) Chairman Kishore Mohanty joined the event as the chief guest and said, “No obstructions will come on the way of those who have taken social service as part of their life. Our aim is to ensure development of the poorest of the poor and the socially-excluded people”.
Chief speaker retired physician Dr SR Dubey gave examples of many persons who are doing social service only for their personal interests. On the occasion, two meritorious football players of Jharsuguda, Gomati Bara and Simran Guru, were felicitated.
