To bring the inherent talent of Odisha to limelight, a talent hunt is being organised by Jharsuguda Aparna World School in the name of "Aparna Talent Hunt 2017".
The annual day of the institution will be held on Sunday, the day fixed for grand final of the talent hunt. The most favoured Odia cine star Sabyasachi and Olywood star Archita will grace the occasion and eminent dance director Saswat Joshi and Odia cine music director Prem Anand will also join. Eminent artist Bindu will be another attraction in the programme. The finale programme will continue from 4 pm till 10 pm on Sunday. Before this, semi final programme will be held for two days on Friday and Saturday.
Out of 801 artists and talents, 177 have been selected for the semi final test. The candidates are contesting in different category of dance, music, debate and live painting etc . The organisers are very much enthusiastic for the State level programme organised in Jharsuguda for the first time ever. All arrangements for the grand finale has been completed, said Aparna World School MD Ajay Poddar. This forum will be very much useful for the local artists to express their hidden talents and get national recognition, he added.
