Normal life was on Friday disrupted in Jagatsinghpur and its adjoining areas due to the BJD-called Hartal Shops and educational institutions remained closed; vehicles, except two-wheelers, went off roads. State Government offices, banks and insurance offices were also closed.. BJD district president and MlA Bishnu Das described the Hartal as a success.
