Police on Saturday arrested two persons in connection with the case of looting a private finance company manager and recovered cash of Rs 41,000 and a bike from their possession.
The looters were identified as Tulu Paramanik from Odiso village here and his associate Madhusudan Das hailing from Atamala village, six km from here. Another persons involved in the incident is at large, informed Jagatsinghpur police station IIC Rajanikanta Mishra.
Notably, three days ago, while the finance company manager Manoranjan Sahoo was returning to Jagatsinghpur after collecting cash from SHGs, the three persons intercepted him at Atamala and snatched away his cash bag containing Rs 1.38 lakh. Sahoo had lodged an FIR at the Jagatsinghpur police station in this regard.
