The elections of several lawyers’ bodies in Jagatsinghpur district were held on Saturday and the results were declared on the same day.
For the District Bar Association, Subrat Satapathy was elected as president, PK Nayak as vice president, Naresh Das as general secretary, Gyanaranjan Mohanty as joint secretary and Duryadhan Rout was elected as treasurer. Seven executive body members were elected too.
Similarly, for the District Revenue Lawyers' Association, Ganeswar Mania was elected as president, Ashok Kumar Ray as vice president, Ramakanta Parija as general secretary, Arundhati Patra as joint secretary and Sailesh Kumar Mohanty was elected as treasurer.
For the Kujanga Bar Association, Gatikrushna Satpathy was elected as president, Sanjaya Kumar as general secretary, Nrusingha Pradhan as vice president, Mamata Mohanty as joint secretary and Pabitra Nayak was elected as treasurer.
Prasanta Kumar Ray was elected as president of the Tirtol Bar Association, Tukan Sethy was vice president, Saroj Panigrahi as general secretary, Golekh Behera as joint secretary and Debendra Kumar Nayak was elected as treasurer.
