After struggling for life for a week, an injured woman of a group clash in Ersama, Soumyashree Nayak, died in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday night.
Palpable tension erupted in Bilikana village under Pokhariapada Panchayat soon after the news reached the village.
Erasama police brought the situation under control after deploying police force.
Reports said that on Aug 1 a group clash had occurred in Bilikana village due to a land dispute between Braja Kishor Rout and Rabindra Swain families. Unfortunately following the clash, Rabindra had died and Rout’s wife Soumyashree was hurt and shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for treatment.Meanwhile basing on the complaints filed by both side police have registered two cases, arrested four persons and forwarded them to court.
