About Rs 6.5 crore was sanctioned under the Ama Gaon Ama Bikash scheme for different villages under Balikuda block on Thursday.
The district administration held the programme in the Borikina College premises being attended by hundreds of villagers including PR representatives from the Balikuda Panchayat Samiti. They held discussions with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik through videoconferencing.
As many as 416 projects were sanctioned in different villages. District Collector Yamini Sarangi, MP Kulamani Samal, MLA Prasanta Muduli, ZP President Priyadarshini Biswal, the DRDA Project Director, Balikuda block chairman and Government officials were present.
