To provide better market for vegetable growers in its periphery villages and facilitating the villagers to have a better price and more margins for their produces, a tripartite MoU has been signed between the Angul District Farmers’ Club Federation, the eKutir Rural Management Services (P) limited and the JSPl Foundation.
The MoU was signed by Angul District Farmers’ Club Federation President Biranchi Narayan Samanta, eKutir CEO KC Mishra and JSPl AVP (CSR & R) SK Sharma.
As part of the pact, the JSPl Foundation will launch a JSPl Foundation VeggiKart Project that will directly link the farmers with the consumers.
Through the project, suitable market linkages will be provided for the farm produces of small and marginal farmers from the JSPl periphery villages.
The package of support system includes three-month training during which the farmers will be trained on sorting, grading and packaging of the farm produces, said JSPl Angul unit Executive Director In-charge DK Saraogi.
