The Jeypore Pujyapuja Sansad began its 18th annual function here on Wednesday. The two-day programme was inaugurated jointly by Justice Radha krushna Patra and former Minister Raghunath Patnaik.
Sansad president Er Kedarnath Behera presided over the inaugural meeting and vice-president Er Bhaskar samantray, secreatary Tapan Kumar Tripathy and Pramod Raul shared the dais.
In his address, Justice Patra haled the sansad’s efforts to preserve the Koraput district’s rich culture and tradition and called upon its functionaries to encourage young poets and literati to spread the same.
