The Being Indian Foundation organised a book distribution programme among the inmates of the love and Serve Children's Home here on the occasion of the Joy of Giving Week, which is observed from October 2 to 8.
A total of 120 useful books were distributed. Besides, a team of 25 members of the foundation also conducted a motivational workshop to develop skills like team building, team coordination and creativity among the children using a shadow-drawing teaching method.
Three animation movies on the life of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam were also screened to motivate the children.
