Keojhar Collector Dr N Tirumalla Naik held a public grievance meeting at Joda block office.
Naik expressed unhappiness over the absence of district level officers and instructed them to be present in the next meeting. Total 35 complaints were heard by the Collector. Important among them included poor road conditions near lahanda railway over bridge, delay in construction of NH 215 from Rimuli to Rajmunda, water scarcity in Joda , Tata Sponge employment problem and construction of bi-pass road to avoid traffic jam in Joda town etc. However, the Collector solved an impasse over an urban water project which was lying unused over last four years for lack of co–ordination between officials of PHD and Gridco. He directed for immediate steps to make the water project ready in Joda town.
Among others, SP Kabita Jalan, Champua Sub-Collector S Mishra, BDO Ghasiram Murmu and Joda block chairman Kabindar Naik were present.
