The Joda Municipality in Keonjhar district has been awarded with the ISO 9001 certificate for public toilet facility, which is the first municipality in Odisha to get it under ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’.
In order to certified ISO 9001 standard, a company or an organisation should demonstrate their ability to constantly providing services that meet customers and regulatory requirements and demonstrate continuous improvement.
In this case, a public toilet at Kumarjoda under Ward no-9 is meeting all the requirements like location, services, quality etc. of the ISO under quality management system for which ISO 9001certificate has been issued to Joda Municipality.
Municipality Executive Officer Suryamani Patjoshi thanked the district administration, staffs and people of Joda for the support.
