Delhi-based NGO Sarthak Educational Trust will organise an exclusive job fair for differently-abled people at the Tech Mahindra in Maitree Vihar here on August 8.
The trust in association with the KITS will also organise a sensitization workshop for the employers on Thursday to make them understand the capabilities of PWDS as well as challenges of hiring such workforce and ways to deal with it.
The job fair is meant for hearing-impaired and physically-disabled persons between the age group of 18 to 30 years, said Trust CEO Jitendra Aggarwal. PWDs can easily lead a life of self-reliance and dignity by getting some training and an inclusive work environment, he added.
