To mark the 10th death anniversary of OP Jindal, the founder of the Jindal Group, on Tuesday, a series of philanthropic activities was organised across different units of the Jindal Steel and Power ltd (JSPl) in the State. A health camp was organised at the JSPl, Angul Occupational Health Centre. The camp, inaugurated by JSPl unit ED DK Saraogi, was organised in collaboration with the District Blood Bank, Angul. On the occasion, around 250 people donated blood. Jindal Mahila Samiti president Sujata Saraogi distributed food items among several children. A health camp was organised at Tensa in Sundargarh benefitting more than 1,000 people of the local areas. JSPl unit head of Tensa Kamalakant Nanda inaugurated the camp. Similarly, employees, workers and hundreds of villagers at Brabil paid floral tribute to OP Jindal in the presence of JSPl Barbil unit head TS Shanbhogue. Besides, food packets were distributed to 400 differently-abled children in Bhubaneswar.
