The new district president of BJP MlA Radha Rani Panda along with her new eight mandal presidents of district inducted 4,000 new members from different parties to BJP here.
In a massive power show Jharsuguda district’s BJP unit organised a Swagat Samabesh at OPM swimming poll ground of Brajrajnagar where top brass of BJP including Union Minister Bishnu Deb Sai, senior leaders Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Biswa Bhushan Harichandan and national secretary Suresh Pujari among others joined.
The eight newly elected Mandal presidents were greeted by MlA Panda.
Union Minister Sai said after MMDR Act, the mines would be reopened soon and Mineral Development Fund will help the Jharsuguda district to grow. He further said that the Union Steel Ministry is doing its job of consultation and it is up to the State Government to take care of its industrial growth. Moreover, on question of creation of new jobs in the industrial sector as the job market is squeezing day after day, the Minister avoided answering it.
Pujari, Singh Deo and Panda in their speeches hoped that Jharsuguda BJP team will do better and push the membership drive further.
