Actress Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal alias Jessy on Saturday moved the Baleswar District and Sessions Court seeking bail.
The court fixed March 1 as the date of hearing.
Jessy is now lodged at the Soro Sub-Jail after being arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja.
Raja (38) had jumped to death from a bridge in Baleswar on February 7 night after performing in a musical programme along with fellow actor Jessy.
