Alok Jena, on whose petition the Supreme Court had ordered the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to probe the chit fund scam in Odisha, has submitted the controversial audio CD to ED Director Rajan Katoch and written about the Seashore Group’s link with politicians of the State. Jena submitted the CD containing conversation between activist Pinaka Mohanty and one Seashore senior employee D Samantray. The employee has disclosed many secret matters of the company in the conversation, he added. By quoting the CD conversation, Jena mentioned in the letter that the company had distributed around Rs 550 crore to 47 MlAs and two Ministers. The Seashore Group CMD has taken the citizenship of Malaysia by officially getting married to a nurse there as per the Malaysian tradition, he further alleged. The petitioner also mentioned in the letter that Pinaka Mohanty has already submitted the CD to the CBI in Bhubaneswar. He urged Katoch to look into the matter.
