As many as 2.18 lakh children aged between 1 and 15 years have been identified to be vaccinated. The vaccination drive would be carried out for 15 days during which the children would be vaccinated from 8 am to 3 pm every day. A total of 175 teams have been formed for this purpose. Notably, the killer victor-borne Japanese Encephalitis has so far claimed lives of over 120 children in the tribals-dominated district.
