The jail authorities of Sohela in Bargarh district shifted former Minister and BJP leader Jayanarayan Mishra to VISMAR, Burla, after he complained of chest pain.
Mishra and many others from BJP of Sambalpur and Bargarh are now lodged in Sohela jail in connection with Banabira murder case during the Bijepur by-election where a BJD supporter was brutally attacked and died later.
After preliminary treatment by the doctor of the jail, the authorities informed the matter to the local judicial magistrate who later permitted for shifting Mishra for higher treatment. Meanwhile, the medical sources said that his health condition is stable.]VIMSAR Director Aswini Pujahari said, “Mishra is stable and we are keeping a close watch on his health condition.”
