Odisha BJP in-charge Chandan Mitra and party leader in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley are scheduled to come here on Monday to discuss the election issues, including forging of pre-poll alliance with small regional outfits, said party sources.
Mitra, who was here to discuss with the State leaders early this week on the possibility of pre-poll alliance with parties like Odisha Jana Morcha, Aama Odisha Party and Samata Kranti Dal, failed to cut any ice forward as there was no unanimity on the issue.
Rather Mitra faced a stiff opposition from the State unit with State Chief KV Singh Deo unilaterally ruling out tie-up with any political parties in the State.
