Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has joined popular social media platform facebook on Tuesday.
He debuted by posting Jai Jagannath, on his official page www.facebook.com/naveen.odisha. This was the Chief Minister’s second presence in a social media platform after twitter. The Facebook page, which was launched as a verified by Facebook page, has crossed more than 40,515 followers in a single day.
Patnaik’s Facebook page would facilitate feedback from people for the Chief Minister and promote better delivery of services and governance. Citizens are encouraged to provide suggestions and ideas for using the page. Earlier on February 24, the Chief Minister’s Office, was the first CMO in the country to use the live streaming facility, which was confirmed by Facebook.
