An ITI student, who had been engaged in power restoration work in cyclone-hit Bhubaneswar, died after falling off the running Rourkela Intercity SF Express train here on Thursday. The deceased Bhaskar Sahu accidentally slipped off the train between Rajgangpur and Kansbahal while returning to his home in Rourkela from Bhubaneswar. Students of the Rourkela Govt ITI on Friday staged a protest by locking up the main entrance of the institution demanding ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakh and a Government job to a family member of the deceased. Sahu was among 37 ITI students who were engaged in power supply restoration work in Bhubaneswar after Fani.
