Senior BJD leader and former Minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai in a letter a letter to the Chief Minister has requested to direct the concerned authorities to issue pattas to all the homestead landless people in the State.
Ghadai in the letter pointed out that that the Government had announced in several occasions to provide houses to all homeless, landless people.
The desire of the Chief Minister could be possible only when all homeless people can be issued land patta where they have been living for over the decades.
At present large number of people are not able to construct houses on their land where they are staying due to absence of land patta even though they are entitlement of the Biju Pucca Ghara and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana allotted in favour of them.
Land Patta to the landless people is the ideal flagship programmes of the Government to all sections people of the State, said Ghadai.
