The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Central University (CU) of Odisha was formed and inaugurated by Vice-hancellor Prof Sachidananda Mohanty. Formation of IQAC has become mandatory by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore in all higher educational institutions as a quality sustenance measure.
There would be no compromise for our search for excellence, said Prof Mohanty, adding, no institution can go forward without publicly verifiable norms. He stressed upon collective but decentralised functioning and for preparing a roadmap for the university for putting it in the national and international map.
Dean, School of Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources and Director of IQAC Dr SK Palita explained about the vision, mission and functional aspects of IQAC.
