Two investors of Kasinagar NAC in Gajapati district lodged written complaint with local police station against the Seashore Group for duping them by promising hefty returns within a short period of time.
According to retired Revenue Inspector Rama Chandra Panigrahi of Badabrahamana Sahi, he invested Rs 14.30 lakh and Tripati Patra of block colony invested Rs 1 lakh in the company to get more interest.
They came to know about the matter when the Economic Offence Wing of the Crime Branch of Odisha registered the case against the company for illegal money circulation without following the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India.
Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar Pradhan said the investigation is on into the case.
