A five-day central zonal inter-university youth festival would be organised in the Brahmapur University campus here from November 25. A preparatory meeting for the purpose was organised under the chairmanship of Brahmapur University Vice-Chancellor Prof Deepak Kumar Behera on Friday.
The proposed cultural festival would be orgnised on behalf of the All India University Association in which over 1,000 students from 30 universities are expected to participate in 25 cultural events, informed Prof Prasant Kumar Padhi. The programmes would be organised from 9 am to 5 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm every day.
Among others, Registral Prof Manmath Padhi, Distance Education Director Prof Nirmal Chandra Sahoo, Hostel Warden Prof Debi Prasanna Patnaik, Prof Pradeep Mohapatra, Prof Kali Sahoo, Student Union former president Bhabanikant Sahoo and incumbent president Deepak Pradhan attended the preparatory meeting.
