Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Panchayati Raj and Mines Narendra Singh Tomar on Monday unveiled the official mascot ‘ALUMOF’ for International Conference on Aluminium (INCAL) 2019 at a Parliamentary consultative committee meeting held at Vadodara in Gujarat.
ALUMOF, which stands for ‘Aluminium – The Metal of the Future’ was unveiled in the presence of Mines Secretary Anil Mukim, Joint Secretary Anil Kumar Nayak and Aluminium Association of India Chairman and Nalco CMD Dr Tapan Kumar Chand
The INCAL is slated to be held in Bhubaneswar from Jan 31 to Feb 3. The mascot would launch to promote INCAL and entertain the crowds at various strategic locations across the country. It would also promote Aluminium as the metal of the future and a metal of national importance.
