Many girl students of the BJB College here on Tuesday staged a dharna in the college premises alleging that insects were found in the food served to them at the women’s hostel.
Besides, the agitating hostel inmates also raised questions over the standard of the food supplied to them. The college authorities reached the spot and held discussion with the students. After the authorities assured that there would be an inquiry into their complaints by a committee, the students called off the agitation.
