Innovative entrepreneurship will boost the Make in India initiative. Besides, it will also create a conducive environment for Indian industries to provide employment to young and educated masses, said Nalco CMD Tapan Kuman Chand here on Friday.

He was inaugurating a  national conference on ‘Make in India: Opportunities and Challenges for Managers’, held at the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTEC) from Friday.

The success of Make in India would greatly impact newer initiatives like ‘Skill India’, ‘Startup India’ and ‘Digital India’, resulting in about 90 million jobs in near future, out of which manufacturing industries would top the employment chart, said  Chand.

Among others, Prof Banikanta Mishra of XIMB, BIMTECH Director Prof Parameswar Nayak, ICAI Director Rajendra Bose and Birla Global Institute Director BK Das were notably present on the occasion.
