The Bhubaneswar Infosys Ltd Development Centre received the coveted Odisha State Energy Conservation Award (OSECA) for the 4th time in a row for its excellence in energy conservation and management.
Energy Secretary Hemant Kumar Sharma presented the award at a State-level function held on the occasion of the Energy Conservation Day here on December 14.
The objective of presenting this award is to propagate the message of energy conservation and energy efficiency among the general public as well as all sectors of the economy to save life from global warming and facilitate sharing of information on best practices and technologies.
While the Infosys Bhubaneswar Development Centre (STPI) was awarded with the “Best Performance Award”, the Infosys Bhubaneswar DC (SEZ ) was awarded with “Meritorious Performance Aaward for their significant contributions towards saving energy and better sustainability.
Infosys team members Biswajit Nayak, Nitya Sarathi Panda, Soumya Jena and Sunil Routray received the award.
