A civil society body of Baleswar has submitted a 13-point charter of demands to the Nesco authorities. The demands include publicity before 24 hours of power cut attributed to maintenance, repair of all damaged poles, underground cabling for prevention of power theft and grievance redressal on 15th of every month at Balia office, etc. The secretary of the body said an agitation would be resorted to if the demands are overlooked by the Nesco authorities and the Energy Department.
