An indoor stadium was inaugurated in the PH area under the Barbil Municipality on Wednesday.
Champua Sub-Collector Parulari, who was the chief guest on the occasion, praised the KJS Ahluwalia company, under whose CSR initiative the project has been built. KJS Ahluwalia Managing Director PK Ahhluwalia said that he is very happy that after a long time, the dream of people of Barbil has been fulfilled and time is not far away when players from different parts of the country would come to play many national and international matches in this stadium.
Others who spoke were Barbil Municipality Executive Officer Manoranjan Dey and Padmanav Rout.
Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had laid the foundation-stone of the stadium way back on January 31. 2013.
