Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday approved incentives for doctors under the Odisha Medical Health Services Cadre.
As per the decision, doctors with super specialisation from medical colleges recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) would get an incentive of Rs 30,000 each per month.
Similarly, doctors with postgraduation from medical colleges recognised by the MCI would each get an incentive of Rs 20,000 per month.
likewise, doctors with postgraduate diploma recognised by the State Government would get an incentive of Rs 10,000 each per month.
“This incentive will be over and above the previous incentives like place-based incentives.
However, these incentives are not linked to any post and are purely based on the required qualifications,” a release from the Chief Minister’s Office said.
