2 new Outposts in RRD
Two more outposts of the Railway Protection Force are being constructed in Ranchi Rail Division. These two new posts will be built at Jhalda and Govindpur Road stations of Ranchi Rail Division, both posts will be in charge of officers of sub-inspector rank and they will have 10 employees to assist them. Jhalda Outpost of Railway Protection Force will work under Muri Post and Govindpur Outpost will be under Railway Protection Force Bano Post. The construction of these additional Railway Protection Force posts will increase the safety of passengers and safety of railway assets.
National Webinar at NUSRL
The Literary Society of National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi in collaboration with Think India organised a National Webinar that saw the participation of more than 100 students from various premier law universities. The theme of the webinar was ‘Reimagining and Transforming the Future of Law Schools and Legal Education in India’. The Guest of Honour for the discussion was Madhu Sudhan Mittal, Senior Advocate at the Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi. The webinar deliberated on various career prospects after a law degree, the importance of well-equipped libraries and their continuous renovation, effect on COVID on future prospects, etc. Further, views were expressed on how the law curriculum has to be revamped and the quality of educational institutions which needs to be enhanced. Shivam Raghuvanshi and Aditya Kashyap, National Co-Convenors, Think India along with the Team of Think India NUSRL Chapter were present during the event.
