SBI holds blood donation camp in BBSR
Bhubaneswar: A blood donation camp was organised by State Bank of India, Stressed Asset Resolution Group, Mumbai in coordination with the State Bank of India, Local Head Office, Bhubaneswar and the Indian Red Cross Society at the SBI, Local Head Office, Bhubaneswar, on Friday. The camp was inaugurated by Chief General Manager, SBI, Bhubaneswar Circle, Ruma Dey, who also donated blood, She expressed her gratitude for arranging the camp and urged for such camps in future too. Around 70 officials and staffs from in and around Bhubaneswar donated blood.
Covid vaccination awareness drive held
Brahmapur: A corona vaccination awareness programme was held at the Berhampur University (BU) campus on Friday. Diabetes doctor Sunil Kumar Kota, the first man who took vaccine in Ganjam district, explained about his experiences and motivated others to take the vaccine without any fear. University Vice-Chancellor Gobind J Chakrapani, Registrar Ranjan Kumar Biswal, Deputy Registrar Dr Babuji Samal, Dr Saroj Kumar Das, Dr Mihir Kumar Tripathy, Dr Shankar Majhi along with Lecturers were present.
444 blood units collected in B’pur camp
Brahmapur: A blood donation camp was organised on the occasion of birthday of former BeMC Corporator R Murali Mohan at Tulsi Nagar here on Wednesday. As many as 444 units of blood was collected at the camp jointly organised by Friends Forever and Radhakrushna Banika Sangha. Brahmapur MP Chandrashekhar Sahu and MLA Bikram Kumar Panda were the guests. Among others, Jivan Bindu coordinator Subash Chandra Moharana, BJD district vice president Sanjeet Panigrahi, Sudheera Rout, Arakhita Jena, R Sabitri, Sanghamitra Dalai, Rajanish Mishra, K Anil Kumar, Jagannath Sabat, Durga Panda, Mamata Bisoyi, and Uma Nayak were present.
