An in-service course for primary teachers of the Kendriya Vidyalayas operating in Odisha and Visakhapatnam area of Andhra Pradesh began at the KV-1 here on Monday.
A total of 38 teachers from different Kendriya Vidyalayas with three resource persons attended the programme inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Bhubaneswar region Krishnakumar K Course Director and KV 1 Principal Sarat Kumar Behura appealed the teachers to update their knowledge through interaction with each other and confront the emerging teaching learning challenges.
The in-service course being conducted by the Zonal Institute of Education & Training (ZIET), Bhubaneswar would continue for 12 days till May 29.
About 50 KV teachers from Odisha and Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to attend the course. They would be updated with the new strategies of education to support the students in the teaching learning process. Eminent educationists from different educational institutions of the capital city are scheduled to share their experience and expertise with the participating teachers.
