The district administration on Saturday declared Badahat village under Ward-15 of the Kendrapada Municipality as a containment zone following a 27-year-old man detected Covid-19 positive, said Kendrapada Collector Samarth Verma.
Later, the patient was shifted to a Covid Hospital.
The patient, who had a travel history of Hyderabad, was in home quarantine. As a precautionary measure, the administration declared Badahat as a containment zone, said Sub-Collector Jyotishankar Mohapatra.
