RTO dept conducts checking drive in Sanwer
Indore: On the instruction of transport commissioner Mukesh Jain and Indore collector Manish Singh Indore RTO department conducted a checking drive in Sanwer area and fined various vehicles disobeying the prevailing election code of conduct. Total 23 vehicles were fined for wrong number plates, illegal hooters and disobeying various other motor transport rules and rs 36500 was collected as fine. Arto Nisha Chouhan, ARTO Hridesh Yadav, RTI Ravindra Thakur, Sub RTI Jyoti Mobel were part of the checking drive.
CM expresses grief over demise of Indira Devi
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the death of Indira Devi Sisodia, mother of Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia. Chief Minister Chouhan prayed to God to grant peace to the departed soul of late Indira Devi and strength to the bereaved family to bear this grief.
Nomination begins in 28 State constituencies
Bhopal: With the release of the notification regarding Vidhan Sabha Election 2020, the process of nomination began in 28 assembly constituencies of 19 districts in the state. On the first day of nomination, two candidates submitted nomination papers were submitted by two candidates.Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Pramod Kumar Shuklam informed that one candidate each of assembly constituency No.6-Morena in Morena district and assembly No. 202-Badnawar in Dhar district submitted a nomination papers. Nomination papers will be submitted till October 16. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on October 17. The process of withdrawal of nominations will be till October 19. Polling will be held on November 3 and counting will be on November 10.
