Odia scientist’s project among top 50
Bhubaneswar: The project proposal of Odia scientist Dr Manas Ranjan Senapati has been selected for the semifinals of the Elsevier Foundation green and sustainable chemistry challenge 2019. The project is the only one from Odisha among top 50 in the world selected by a jury of scientists. The top five project proposers would be invited to present their proposals at the 2019 Green and Sustainable Chemistry Conference in Dresden in Germany. Dr Senapati is presently Professor of Chemistry at the Trident Academy of Technology, Bhubaneswar.
NDRF observes Police Martyr’s Day
Athagarh: The NDRF 03 Battalion at Mundali observed the 59th Police Martyr’s Day (Police Commemoration Day) at its premises near here on Sunday. Senior Commandant Jacob Kispotta paid homage to the police martyrs who have lost their lives on duty during safeguarding of people's rights and defending the country. Other NDRF personnel also paid tributes.
