The ‘Forum for Ganjam’, an umbrella organisation of political parties, intellectuals, NGOs, and general public submitted a memorandum to the MKCG Medical College Superintendent on Tuesday demanding to bring an improvement in the state of the medical college soon. It might be mentioned here that the forum on April 7 had submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister through the RDC (Southern Division) regarding the appalling condition of the medical college.
The forum alleged that there has been no change in the condition of the medical college.
The forum said due to lack of confidence on the medical college, the patients are going to Vishakhapatnam and other cities to be treated for even some minor ailment, alleged the forum members.
Among others, forum coordinator Sudhir Kumar Sabat, executive members E Tejeswar Rao, J Suresh, Prashant Kumar Muni, Dr Sagar Ranjan Tripathy, Sukanta Kumar Gouda, Shyam Sundar Khadanga and Prafulla Kumar Pasupalak were present.
